Jo’s Colours: Wickham Gray
Who says you can’t add a cozy, comfy chair, space permitting, to a kitchen? I added this seating nook to a corner of the kitchen and it is now a perfect spot for reading and a cup of tea.
One of my favourite neutrals, Wickham Gray, provides a soothing and calm background to the navy upholstered chair, crisp white trim and vintage wood furnishings of this kitchen nook. A fresh and airy pale gray with a blue-green undertone, Wickham Gray, one of Benjamin Moore’s Historical Colours is a timeless, classic colour and a welcome addition to any room.
Benjamin Moore Wickham Gray – HC-171
I love using light neutrals with a touch of blue or grey in bathrooms. Here, I used a favourite, Benjamin Moore’s, Wickham Gray, HC-171. The blue undertone provides a restful, spa-like feel to the bathroom.

Wickham Gray provides a beautiful, fresh backdrop to this coastal home. I love the classic combination of white trim, pale wood furnishings and neutral accents with the soft blue-gray of the walls. This room perfectly represents the colours of the beach and the ocean.
How about this stunningly simple dining room which has Wickham Gray paired with crisp white mouldings, white linen chairs and the medium wood tones of the floor and table. Love the combination of the contemporary lines of the furniture with the traditional and classically styled chandelier and fireplace.
This colour is perfect is you are looking for a soft greyed blue, which does not scream “baby blue.”
I love this fresh, clean paint colour in my kitchen, which includes all different shades of blue and white accents, and how this space reflects the promise of spring and warm weather, no matter how cold and dreary it is outside.
